We offer a cost effective, flexible service to operate a Food Business in a Five Star Rated, NSW Food Authority and Sydney City Council inspected, DA Approved with a 9B Classification and HACCP Compliant, Fully Equipped Commercial Kitchen, on an hourly basis, for long term, short term, casual or one off share or exclusive rental.


Our kitchens are well equipped, air conditioned, with loading dock and ramp access into the kitchen, we have parking available in the building and ample street parking in the surrounding streets.

Temp Kitchen Rent operates under a flexible and open License Agreement that once registered with us, you can rent space at very short notice or on a regular basis for the time that you require.​​

The workstation rental price depends on the number of people working and/or the space required for your production.

Included in the hourly rate for the booked hours is: 

    • The use of the bench top space of the workstation booked
    • The dry storage space in the shelf under the bench 
    • Two refrigerator shelves or one small coolroom shelf
    • One freezer shelf
    • The use of all the available equipment and utensils (on a shared basis)
    • All cleaning chemicals
    • Limited rubbish bin liners and disposal costs
    • All the kitchen running, energy, maintenance and compliance costs

We have 2 kitchens in our Ultimo premises, K1 (at the front) and K2 (at the rear).

Each kitchen can hold a maximum of 15 people, 30 people for both kitchens.

A full premises rental, 2 kitchens, K1 plus K2, allows for a maximum 30 people and an exclusive use of the premises.

Included in the hourly rate for the booked hours is: 

    • The use of all bench top spaces in the booked kitchen (s)
    • The dry storage space in the shelf under the benches
    • Eight refrigerator shelves or four narrow coolroom shelves per kitchen
    • Four freezer shelfs per kitchen
    • The use of all the available equipment in the booked kitchen.
    • All cleaning chemicals
    • Limited rubbish bin liners and disposal costs
    • All the kitchen running, energy, maintenance and compliance costs

We have limited storage spaces available for the registered clients that use our kitchens.
We have Dry storage, Refrigeration storage and Freezer storage available to rent by the calendar day from 12:00 am to 11:59 pm.

The kitchen is serviced and sanitized on a daily basis, and deep cleaning of the equipment is performed continuously on a rotating basis.

Repairs are dealt with immediately without delay by our licenced contractors who repair and service our equipment and facilities as needed.

Our comprehensive range of equipment and utensils, means that it is a; bring your food and personal utensils such as knifes, tea towels, paper towels, consumables, etc.. and we provide the rest, you are ready to go from the moment you arrive, we make sure that the kitchens are kept to the highest standards at all times.


The Kitchen Manager - The KM takes care of any issues in the kitchen, freeing you and your staff to concentrate in your production or activity, the KM is available at all times that the kitchen is operating, either on site or on call, he/she is in charge that the kitchen facilities operate efficiently, no matter how busy it is, and that all the equipment is operating, and that the work flows without any clutter.

Location - We are centrally located in the Sydney CBD.
Utensils - Pots, pans, bowls, scales, and many others, are included in the hourly rate. (subject to availability)

Storage - Included in the hourly rate are 2 fridge shelves, 1 freezer shelf and the shelf under your workstation, for the booking duration. You can hire extra storage (fridge, freezer or dry storage) for a day or longer as required.

Cleaning Materials - We provide all of the required cleaning, degreasing and sanitizing chemicals,  and all the sponges, scourers, and brushes.

Waste Management
- We include up to two 80 Lt rubbish bags (rubbish and recycling) included in the hourly rate, oil disposal over 2 litres will incur extra disposal charges.
Access - We have  loading dock facilities with ramp access to the kitchen, we provide trolleys to carry your goods. We also have a large double door street level front entrance on Wattle street, providing quick access through the front.
Commitment - We operate under a flexible Licence Agreement, that with the exception of the long term and other limited deals, offer a commitment free Licence, meaning you only book what you need, when you need it, and you can close the account at any time, you are not tied up in a long term lease, with a high security deposit.
Short Notice Bookings - Bookings can be made at any time, but if you need to make a booking for the next day or even the same day, we can accommodate our registered clients on a moment's notice (depending on availability), short notice bookings (less than 2 business days) incur a short notice fee (SNF) processing charge.
